Wherever you’re going · Opening city by city
Nobody hands
you the city.
People do.
Journii turns wherever you go into a journey you can scroll back through — photos, posts, reviews, the spots you found, the events you showed up to. Follow the people you know, see what your city is posting today, and keep a map of everywhere you’ve been.
One journii, start to finish
A journey is what’s left when you get back.
A weekend, a summer, a year abroad. The shape is the same, and the days below are only how long yours takes.
Day 0
You arrive. The city is a shape you know nothing about.
Day 2
Someone's saved spot beats every search result you tried.
Day 9
You go to a thing on your own and leave with six numbers.
Day 40
You're the one answering where to go on a Sunday.
Always
It's all still there. Every place, in the order you found it.
What you get, by how far out you look
It starts with your own trip and widens from there.
You
Post it while you’re standing there.
Photos, an opinion, a review, a spot worth the walk, an event you turned up to. It lands on your journii in the order it happened.
Friends
See where everyone is right now.
What the people you follow are posting from the journii they’re on today — and every journii they’ve already finished, still there to scroll.
Your city
The feed changes when you land.
Whatever city you’re in, you see what everyone else in it is publishing that week. Locals, people passing through, people who arrived on Monday.
Any city
Search it before you go.
A map opens with the spots and the points of interest the people there actually use. Nothing that paid to be on it.
All of it
Every journii you’ve been on, one map.
Trace back years of it — every place, in the order you found it. That’s the part you keep.
Erasmus student · on
Arrive on exchange. Leave a local.
Everyone gets the same Journii. Signing up asks one question — whether you’re on Erasmus — and answering yes switches on three more things. Nothing else about your journii changes.
Who else is here
The other students on the same exchange in your city — not the whole city at once.
Events for your intake
Trips, language nights, and the first-week things nobody thinks to tell you twice.
Local by the end
You landed knowing one street. Your journii is the proof you know the rest.
What ends up on the map
Not ratings out of five. The thing the person who lives there would actually tell you.
The €9 beer square is 200m that way. Don’t.
Laundry that’s actually open on Sunday. Bring coins.
Open-air film every Thursday until it rains. Bring a cushion.
Best view in the city, free, and everyone leaves by 21:00. Go at 20:30.
Here until Sunday, no plan, always up for walking somewhere stupid.
Bakery, cash only. Ask for the one with the burnt top.
Every city has a square where a beer costs €9 and nobody who lives there has ever sat down.
Journii is a map of everywhere else.
First cities
A city only works when enough people in it are already posting, so Journii opens one at a time. Tell us yours when you join — the ones with the most people waiting go first.
